Iowa Rural Health Association Receives Grant from the Delta Dental Foundation of Iowa

April 10, 2023

The Iowa Rural Health Association has received a $30,000 Community of Health Grant from the Delta Dental Foundation of Iowa. These funds will support strategic planning amongst our board and larger membership, provision of training webinars for engaged partners, and planning and convening a statewide conference for the association. With this support, the organization will be able to strengthen our capacity to support rural health initiatives throughout Iowa and will facilitate growth among those engaged in rural communities, including health care providers and leaders, non-profit organizations, and students.

About Delta Dental’s Community of Health Grants

Through the Foundation’s Community of Health Grants, organizations can receive up to $50,000 to advance the Foundation’s core initiatives, align with the three strategic areas of focus (education and advocacy, access and prevention, and policy and research), and with one of the following priority funding areas: innovations, strengthening the sector, and community change.

Since 2002, the Foundation has invested more than $56 million to improve the oral and overall health of Iowans through grant programs. Learn more about the Delta Dental of Iowa Foundation.
