You’re Invited: Community Health Worker & Rural Health Advocate Training Sessions
Connecting Stories, Strengths & Solutions for Rural and Maternal Health
Join fellow Community Health Workers from across Iowa for an engaging, hands-on training designed just for you. These sessions will help you build on the important work you already do in your community—especially around maternal health and rural health challenges.
Together, we’ll explore ways to:
-
Use storytelling to lift up local voices and experiences
-
Recognize and grow your own strengths and leadership
-
Turn local data into practical tools for change
You’ll have plenty of time to connect with other CHWs, share your insights and stories, and work together to find community-driven solutions. Whether you’re new to the field or have years of experience, your voice and presence are welcome and needed.
We are conducting these on Friday’s throughout October across the State. Select a location that is closest to you and sign-up for one of the free, interactive sessions. Lunch will be provided.
