Rural Health Advocacy, Policy, and Research

The IRHA Policy Committee offers the Board and members an opportunity to learn firsthand about the development and implementation of health care policy and legislative processes at the state and federal level.  The Committee meets bi-monthly and communicates routinely on issues and matters related to rural health, and then disseminates related communications via the IRHA list serve.  The IRHA offers members and others the opportunity to hear state and national experts discuss current policy matters at the annual meeting.
